He was often affectionately called Deacon Douglas, Bro. Sunny, Bro. D, and Bro. Lep. Deacon Douglas ran a good race and finished his course on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, to rest with his Savior.
He left to cherish his memories Reverend Margaret Douglas, his wife of 56 years, nine children, Glenton Douglas (Gwen), Oniel Douglas (Rose), Lorna Douglas, Claudia Douglas (Donovan
Simpson), Stanford Douglas Jr., Deneise Charlotin (Wilson), Dillis Douglas, Henroy Douglas (Lynn), and Nathan Douglas.
Grandchildren include Dwayne Douglas (Jennifer), Cassandra Douglas, Lee Anne Douglas Trotman (Justin), Onielia Polanco (William), Ryan Douglas, Miles Douglas, Gawayne Brown, Melbourne Miller Jr, Shaquana Oriol, Kayla Morgan, Steven Broadhurst, Saige Douglas, Imani Woodard, Micayla Douglas, Zion Douglas, Omari Douglas, Matthew Charlotin, Andrew Charlotin, Malaika Cherrington, Carrie Douglas, and Asa Douglas.
