Obituary of Elayne Clarissa Lawrence

Elayne Lawrence 70 years old of Patchogue Long Island NY 11772 Peacefully departed this life on 10/20/24 at Good Shephard Hospice Elayne was born to Augustus Lee Franklin and Thelma Louise Lawrence On July 14, 1954 in Amelia County Virginia, Elayne moved to NY at an early age where she grew up in Wyandanch Long Island, where she attended elementary and high school in 1970. Elayne was a caring Nursing Assistant for over 50 years. At an early age, she confessed her love for Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Central Islip. Elayne is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Thelma Lawrence, she leaves to cherish her fondest memories (2) sisters Shirley Harris of Blackstone Virginia and Betty Jean Lawrence of Wyandanch one brother Richard Lawrence of Wyandanch Three children Deirdre Denise Lawrence, Fred Leon Ayler, Freddie Dionne Ayler. (10) grandkids Shaquasia Berry, Tasean Berry, Au-Shayla Lawrence, Edeevah Lawrence, Edeejah Lawrence Saivon Ayler, Amara Ayler, Leonasia Ayler, Andre Quick and Cashius Brooks. (2) God-sisters Shenita King &Tina Jimenez (2) nieces Joycelyn Lawrence, Lawanda Lawrence (2) great nephews Mahlik and Rahmir Hammonds. Host of serval cousins and friends one soulmate Bobby Berry. Miss me but let me go. When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me. I want to rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. Kiss me a little but not for long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared miss me but let me go. Nor this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone. It’s all part of the master plan a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart go the friends, we know. Laugh at all the things we used to do. Miss me but let me go.
