My father was not just my dad; he was my rock, my biggest cheerleader, and the heart of our family. He and mom had a way of making everyone feel at home, and his love for life was truly infectious. My earliest memories take me back to Brooklyn, where Dad would ride me around Prospect Park on the back of his bike. I’ll never forget how he combed my hair for kindergarten—always resulting in a sideways ponytail that made us both laugh. Dad's love for music and dance was a cornerstone of our home. Saturday mornings were filled with the sounds of song's like Sitting in the Park and other classics, setting the rhythm for our day as we cooked, cleaned, and shared laughter. He made sure our house was always a place of love, filled with family and friends. I’ll miss his daily calls at the same time, without fail, to check on me, Jermaine, and the kids to ask, ‘What’s for dinner?’ It was a simple gesture, but it showed just how much he cared. Dad’s warmth, kindness, and love will forever be etched in my heart. While I’ll miss him deeply, I’m so grateful for the countless memories we made together. He taught me the importance of love, family, and living life with a smile. Rest in peace, Dad. Thank you for being my guiding light, my biggest supporter, and the most amazing father. I’ll carry your love and lessons with me always.

I appreciate the village off Benburb st I grew up in the Castro elders help Mold the person I have become. I feel Most people don’t know how much of an impact people have on them. My whole block was the village that Everyone wanted to be on we all Family on Benburg st in Amityvile. NY
