I can remember during the Washington Temple days myself,The late Elder Jamie Taylor,Elder Wendell Dias, and Elder Tory Parham would go to Mother Taylor’s house on Sundays between services. We were young Preachers back then in our teens/early 20’s. Mother would cook and we would have some good fellowship and human laughter. Mother Taylor taught me how to play the piano at her house. Mother was Kind,Patient,Loving,Understanding, and Loyal toward us all. And I shall forever be grateful to have had the opportunity not only to know Mother Taylor, but to have had an opportunity to serve with her in ministry. God Bless the memory of Mother Laura Taylor and Sister Robin Taylor.

The ExtraOrdinary Lady Laura Taylor has been most impressive since I was a child. She was the first woman or person for that matter that I’d seen play an instrument from the Tuba family. (I was today years old to learn it’s called a euphonium). I remember she also taught Sunday School and/or other Christian education classes. She led as a director of choirs and at my sweet sixteen she led everyone in the first remix of Happy Birthday (after Stevie Wonders version) I’d ever heard and added a Ra -Ra -Ra -Ra-Ra lol. She also had a group sing at my birthday and that was so special. They were called Gods gifted and talented (GGT) or something similar. She always brightened an occasion. I celebrate her life and the many beautiful melodies of joy she sang. She’s pictured here at my sweet sixteen with my grandmother and cousin.
