Mrs. Celia Cash was affectionately known as "Ms. Ceil". She was born February 18th 1938 in Georgetown, South Carolina to Richard and Mamie Greene. She lived in Georgetown, South Carolina until she met and married James Cash in 1966 and moved to New York. She was employed 40 years by a family she loved so dearly, The Gambino's. Ms. Ceil was funny, caring, loving, outgoing, generous and loved by everyone. Ms Ceil touched everyone she met and always left a lasting impression. You were guaranteed a good laugh whenever she was around. She leaves to cherish her memories of her absence: husband, James Cash; three children, Asonja Mercer, Wyandanch NY, Darielle Kershaw, Sumpter, SC, and James Eric Cash, Franklin, VA; son-in- law, Derrick Mercer; three siblings, Phyllis Gibson, Georgetown SC, Betty Ferguson, Harlem NY, and Louis Simmons, Pawleys Island, SC; her best friend since childhood, Janie Becoate, Harlem NY; six grandchildren, nine great great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
