Obituary of Michael Richardson

Michael L. Richardson was a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, partner and friend. Michael was born on January 7, 1960 in New York, NY and was a blessing sent to his parents James M. Richardson and the late Emma L. Duncan-Richardson. He was the 2nd eldest of four children. In 1969, the family moved from Brooklyn, NY to Amityville, NY. He was educated at the Copiague school system where he was able to gain the basic knowledge that he used through life. Michael also known in the streets as "Money Mike" was a kind person that had a very good heart. He was blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Tahqueia Hinton from a union with Tonya Hinton. Tahqueia was the joy in his life. During his journey, he met Rhonda Rouse that became his long-time companion. Michael worked at Pathmark until he fell ill. He faced some difficult times but he was able to re-focus and maintain the belief that hecan make it through with a little faith. With a little help from his goodfriend Jimmy and Teddy Terri, he reconnected with his religious faith and regularly attended the "House of Judha" in West Sayreville, NY, until his health started to decline. He leaves to mourn his daughter, the love of his life, Tahqueia Hinton and his grandson Dashod Hinton; a long-time companion of 16 years Rhonda Rouse and his extended family that he loved dearly; three sisters Mary Marshall, Dorothy Patterson, and Phyllis (Peaches) Pressley; one brotherin-law William Pressley; as well as a host of other family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
