Obituary of Annie Mae Moore

A Journey Begin for I am now ready to be offered. And my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Tim 4 : 6-7 Annie Mae Moore was born on November 1, 1952 in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to the late Walter Moore and Pastor Corlene Nichols. She departed this earthly life and went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 22, 2015, at Oak Hollow nursing facility. Annie was preceded in death by her brother Arthur Nichols. Annie relocated to New York in 1960. She attended New York Public School System. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1970. Desiring a closer walk and relationship with the Lord at a young age she accepted Christ as her savior. She loved to sing. She was an usher for years. When called to sing, her favorite selection was "Walk With Me" while I'm on this tedious journey I want Jesus to walk with me. Annie was known as the jokester of the family. She loved to dance, play spades was her life. If you were in need she would give you the shirt off her back. A few favorite sayings of hers where: "That's the berry reason" "Hey give me two dollars" "I ain't mad at you" "Boop boop thats part life" "Keep it moving". When she walked in, she would light a room up. Her nick name to all was "Mopad". Annie leaves to cherish her memory her only son Rev. Stephen Z. D. Moore Sr, her grandchildren Lamel, TJ, Gregory, Chavez, Marcus, Marchaniys, Jeoffrey, Malik, Stephen Jr, and Devohne. Her great grandchildren: Jaela, Asia, Ava, and CJ. Her brothers: Jerry Nichols, Bronx NY, Jessie Law, Wilson NC, Elijah McGee, Bronx NY, her sisters co-pastor Samantha Holmes Elliott, (Pastor Willie Elliott), Tommie Law Brooklyn NY, Minnie Franklin Williams Harlem NY, Brenda Dyer Raleigh Durham NC, her only living aunt Ozie Callis, her cousins Anne, Robert, Paulette, Pat, Eddie, Michelle, Gregory, and Ava. Host of loving nieces and nephews, special niece and nephew Tyron McGee, Katince Michelle McGee, adopted grandsons Ethan and Anthony, devoted friends, her favorite sister-in-law Virgina McGee
