On behalf of the Society Air Force Nurses, please know we are also mourning with you the death of our friend and colleague, Lieutenant Colonel Mary Leftenant. You are not alone in remembering a truly wonderful person who made a difference in the lives of so many. She was an original member of the Society which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. A donation in memory of Lt Col Leftenant will be made to the Women in Military Service for America which stands at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery.
