Obituary of Felicia Nicholl Brown-Hamilton

Felicia Nicholl Brown Hamilton was born on January 4th, 1976 to Charles H. Brown III and Linda S. Perry in Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, NY. Felica Grew up in Wyandanch and relocated to North Babylon where she attended North Babylon High School. Felicia went on to become an entrepreneur as a hair stylist. She loved styling hair since the age of 13. She worked alongside her mother at Beauty on Broadway and eventually Linda opened her own shop called, "Hair is the Place". Felicia took ownership of the shop after her mom retired and ran the shop until she moved to South Carolina. Felicia started a new career as a Hotel auditor for Holiday Inn and soon became the manager of Holiday Inn while living in Columbia, SC. Felicia was married to Dennis Hamilton. Felicia gave birth to three beautiful children, Toney Denzel Brown, Dennis Hamilton Jr, and Jada Nicholl Hamilton. She loved her children and really believed in "Family First". Felicia was outspoken, creative, smart, funny, charismatic, very focused, determined, and a quick learner. She was strong, hopeful, caring, adventurous, daring, and bold. She lived her life to fullest. She lived, loved and laughed. You might say why so many adjectives to describe Felicia because she was "One of Kind" there will never be another that's why. She leaves her children a legacy of determination and perseverance. She was resourceful, a great cook, loved roller coasters, loved music especially "SWV" and wanted to sky dive but time ran out. Many things we can say about Felicia such as: she was never fearful, extremely out spoken, and a lot of fun. She was "Live and Uncut". She stood up to cancer and anything else that stood in her way. She believed in Jesus Christ and was a bold soldier in the Lord. Always prayed and trusted God for all things. When there was no hope, her hope rested in God always. She encouraged herself and strengthened her family. She was baptized again as a rededication to Christ on March 26, 2017. She was so joyous on that day. To Aunt Venessa Joy Brown who was her medical navigator, a source of strength and knowledge because of her profession as a Registered Nurse; the family is very grateful and humbled by her sacrifice. Her cousin Cynthia Ellison and her Sisters in Christ Laurie Sadek and Judy ("Judy Patootie") were very instrumental in her well-being. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Toney Denzel, Dennis (DJ), Jada Nicholl, Her Mother: Linda S. Perry (Stepfather: Tony Perry) of North Babylon, Father: Charles Brown III of Blythewood SC, Brother: Charles Brown (Wife: Juanita Brown) of Babylon, Brother Corey Brown, Sister Rachael Brown, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, best friends Khepera and Tomika Mays and loved ones. Special thanks to Josette Battle Jada Hamilton's God Mother and NYC Church of Christ family.
