Obituary of Leonard M. Wright

Leonard Wright Jr. was born in Copiague, New York to Martha Moore and the late Leonard Wright Sr. on September 10th, 1949. He left this earth for his heavenly home on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Lenny attended Copiague public Schools were he finished his studies. Following his studies he starts his career in the dietary field where he then settled in at South Oaks Hospital where he worked for an amazing 49 years. Lenny enjoyed to work and eventually retired. He loved music, The Isley brothers and the O'Jays! He spent his free time attending concerts, and loved photography. Family was everything to Lenny. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Mrs. Martha Moore Wilson of Conley, Ga. Devoted Son Jason Washington and fiancè Miskisha Kearney of Shirley, NY. Grandchildren Jahshon Washington of Babylon, NY Nahshonna Washington of Warner Robins, GA; Jas'on Washington and Janiyah Washington of Amityville, NY; Jaden Washington, Journey Washington and Logan Washington of Shirley, NY. Survived by his former wife Julene Wright and their children; daughter Chantelle Wright of Brooklyn, NY Grandchild Dakota Brown, Son Leonard Wright of Bay Shore, NY Grandchild Amariyah Wright His siblings Calvin Boyd of Riverdale, GA, Helene Alston of Hampton, GA , Walter Boyd of Riverdale, GA, James Boyd of St. Cloud, FL, Alphonso Garner (Tommy) of Salisbury, MD, John Williams (Rosetta) of Amityville, NY, Wayne Garner (Renee) McDonough, GA, Cheryl Garner of Lithonia, GA, Nathaniel Garner of Conley, Ga.
