Jason was honest with himself about his challenges, yet he was optimistic in his life and was generous with his loved ones and friends. He provided a safe space for many and tried not to judge what anyone else was going through but was always there to lend support. He saw the humanity in everyone.

He brought smiles and laughter to many and was a kind and compassionate man who truly cared about making the world a better place one person at a time.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents Irma Franklin and Lloyd McIntosh and his siblings Jasmine Porter and Myles Porter.

He is survived by his siblings Ricardo Porter, Linadria Porter, Dereke Porter, Shaunna Faust, and Renee Booker. Nieces and nephews, Dolores Coleman, Lahneen Porter, Henry Hollingsworth, Dereke Porter, Zaisha Martin, Davina Williams, William Porter, Shakira Porter, Courtney Porter, Jeremy Porter and Brianna Williams and a host of grand-nieces and grand-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
