George Waldson Jackson, born on September 25, 1936, was called home on September 2, 2022, to be with the lord and his late parents MR. & MRS. Jackson. George Waldson Jackson was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. George attended high school in Brooklyn and later begin his career with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. NYC DEP describes George as a great supervisor with a great sense of humor. George W. Jackson retired from NYC DEP and spent his retiring years enjoying life and listening to his favorite tunes. George spent time with his best friend and neighbor Judy Velez telling jokes and listening to music. George became ill and his daughter Victoria Garcia insured that he was provided the best care. George and his caretaker Deidre Parker became the best of friends. George changed his name to Action Jackson. George leaves to mourn his daughter Victoria Garcia, Son Troy W. Jackson, daughter-in-law Lissette Jackson and one grandson, Troy Anthony Jackson Jr. George Action Jackson leaves a host of friends, family, and his NYC DEP family to mourn. George had a loving kind and great spirit. George would leave a smile on anybody’s face whom he met. To know George was to love him!
